Hello Hello! How are you all?
It’s Wednesday again and that means it’s time for my catch up! I’ve had a hectic week so far with the start of my classes on Monday, and the class organisation from my university is pretty much all over the place and confusing, but I’m pushing on! Tell me about your week so far!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over at Taking On A World of Words.
WWW Wednesday is based on 3 questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Murder on the Orient Express (#10) by Agatha Christie
This is the second book we are reading this month for the TWR Gang book club. I have read to the halfway point for our discussion we had on Sunday and I am absolutely loving this one. I love the eerie vibes from the setting, the characters are all aloof and suspicious and I think this is one I’m going to adore. I’ll be finishing this one in the next days for the final discussion on Sunday!
Clockwork Princess (#3) by Cassandra Clare
I’m still reading this one with Fiona for our Shadowhunter Saturday posts and Shadowhunter mission! I have got to get my reading in gear because we are posting our next discussion post on Saturday. I’m about halfway through and also really enjoying it, so I’ll get this one done in the next day or two!
Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron
I’m reading this one with Candyce and we are also about halfway. I love retellings and especially YA fantasy and this book is just amazing! The author took this fairytale and completely flipped it up and scattered the pieces. I think it’s going to be a great book and an author to watch out for, so I’m really enjoying it and can’t wait to shut my laptop down tonight and race to read the next chapters!
A Pinch of Magic (#1) by Michelle Harrison
I’ve only got one section of about 80 pages to go in this book and ARGH, I have no idea what will happen but I’m praying everything will be okay! I’ve gotten way more invested in this book than I would have thought and I love how dark and eerie the story is. I’m so grateful to Fiona to have sent me the sequel for my birthday, I’m going to pick it up as soon as I’ve finished the first book!
Bad Habits by Flynn Meaney
I’m also halfway through this one and LOVING IT. The main character, Alex, is sassy, she doesn’t let anyone walk on her and she is just so funny, straightforward and I love her. A lot of the antics she gets up to reminds me of myself when I was her age, so it’s like a little trip down memory lane, but a lot funnier. I’m really enjoying it and wasn’t expecting to like it this much, so I’m going to try to finish it tonight!
Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M. McManus
I finished this one with Stephen a few days ago and we hit a bit of a wall because we both thought that ending flopped a little bit. The first 75% of the book was so great, the pacing, tension and events were so immersive and enjoyable, but then something changed and the reveal was a little bit anticlimactic if I’m honest. I rated this one 3.5 stars and I’ll have my review up on my blog soon!
The Library of the Dead (#1) by T. L. Huchu
I am going to be starting this book in the next day or two and I can’t tell you how excited I am to read it. I’m so glad that I got the opportunity to read this book thanks to Stephen Haskins and I’m sure I am going to love it! I think it was likened to Rivers of London, which is also a book I’m excited to read, so I feel like I have some very good reads next!
To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini
I am determined to sit down this weekend, grab this chunky monster and FINISH IT. I’ve been picking it up and reading a few chapters here and there for months and it makes me feel so bad because I was really enjoying it and I received a finished copy from the publisher. I’m going to finish this one and finally get a review up!
That’s all for now, I hope you enjoyed reading this post, see you soon, stay safe,
Ellie xx
I’ve just finished Murder in the Orient Express and absolutely loved it and I’m so glad you are too! I’ve seen Cinderella is Dead everywhere as well, think I need to pick that up soon!

My WWW!
Thank you so much! Happy reading to you too! 🙂
Hope you enjoy the last book in The Infernal Devices. I haven’t read anything by Agatha Christie but the movie they made from that book was really good.

Thank you Mae, I just finished it and I did enjoy it, although there were some moments I just didn’t get or like, but still a really fun read! 🙂 I’m really liking the Agatha Christie books so far!
