Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Hello Hello! How are you all?

This is a very busy week for me, I have the most amount of hours of class that I’ve had all semester (28 hours!!) but I’m getting on with some of my work and managing to squeeze in some reading too! I hope your week is off to a good start!

I haven’t been able to read that much this past week, but I finished a few books, and I’m reading some more of my current reads, so let’s look at them all!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over at Taking On A World of Words.

WWW Wednesday is based on 3 questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky (#1) by Kwame Mbalia

Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky (Tristan Strong #1)

I haven’t finished reading the second section of this book yet so I’m a little bit late for the Middle Grade Marvels chat (sorry!) but what I have read, I have thoroughly enjoyed. This is one of those amazing diverse, unique and action-packed stories and I can’t wait to read more!

Winterling (#1) by Sarah Prineas

Winterling (Winterling, #1)

I’m about halfway through this and wow, I am enjoying it a lot. It is a lot more on the dark side which is something I have not really read before in middle grade books, but it’s very much a fae story, which is something I always love. I have a lot of questions but I know they are going to be answered, if not now then in the next books in the series that I will definitely be continuing, and I can’t wait to read more of this one! 😊

 BBNYA Book 2

This book was so GOOD and I cannot wait to be able to gush about it. I think I might give it 4 or 4.5 stars, it was very much my kind of book and I’m so glad it was chosen for me. I can’t say much, but the winner will hopefully be announced soon and many reviews and blog tours will follow!

BBNYA Book 3

This was the final book I read for BBNYA and I finished it so fast! This was my most anticipated one and for good reason, it was excellent! It wasn’t 100% my thing, but I’m very glad it was chosen for me to read because I was fully immersed and very much invested in this story, I’ll even have to buy myself a physical copy so I can reread it because I loved it!

One of Us is Next (#2) by Karen M. McManus

One of Us Is Next (One of Us Is Lying, #2)

I just finished this one last night and although it wasn’t AS good as One of Us is Lying, I had so much fun buddy reading it with Stephen, so thank you for agreeing to read it with me. we weren’t as invested in this story because we were still fully invested in the Bayview Four and you’ll know why if you read the first book in this duology, but characters grew on me very quickly, the plot was fun and very twisty and I never imagined that ending! This was a great book and I’m so glad I got to read it! My review should be up in a few weeks!

Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3)

I don’t think I’m going to start anything until I’ve read more of my current reads because I’m very busy, so I’ll check in with you again next week to see if I did end up picking anything up! But I might pick up Clockwork Princess (#3 The Infernal Devices) by Cassandra Clare this weekend! Fiona and I have decided to push this back a few weeks which I’m very grateful for, and I’m going to try to get to it soon!

That’s all for now, I hope you enjoyed this post, see you soon, stay safe,

Ellie xx

  1. I really need to get back to reading Cassandra Clare. I’ve only read like three of her books from The Mortal Instruments. Ir recently reread the first one under the assumption I was going to finish the series but I have yet to pick up the second lol

    1. Thank for reminding me that I need to start the latest book this week ahah *hides* I’ve prefered The Infernal Devices more, but I’m going to be reading the second series in the Mortal Instruments soon, so we will have to see!
