Hello Hello! How are you?

My week has already been so hectic, busy and frustrating so far, but we are already halfway through the week and I’m hoping that the last days are going to go fast and that I’m going to get all my jobs done!

Monday, I passed the 40k line for NaNoWriMo and I am really hoping that I can make it before the end of the month, it would be such an accomplishment for me since I’m so busy with university and my conditions are making me feel so blah at the minute. Wish me luck!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over at Taking On A World of Words.

WWW Wednesday is based on 3 questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

I’m buddy reading this book with Candyce from The Book Dutchesses and so far I’m finding this so very interesting. I have no idea where it’s going, it’s definitely keeping me on my toes and I’m really glad I’m buddy reading it because we have so much to discuss!

.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)

Noly and I have been reading this for the Hype-A-Thon Readathon, we only just started this a few days ago, but it’s a reread and already a much-loved book. I’m having a lot of fun rereading it and especially with someone who loves it as much as me and it’s so funny talking about things that we never even saw the first time around. This reminded me that I need to reread more of my favourite books.

Shadows of Winterspell by Amy Wilson

Shadows of Winterspell

This week is the final section for this book I’m reading with the members from the Middle Grade Marvels book club on Twitter. So many things happened in the third section and I have no idea how this is going to conclude and how everything is going to happen in so few pages, but I’m really enjoying it. it was a great choice for November!

.

Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

Rebecca

On Sunday, I finished the third section of this book I’m reading with some great members of The Write Reads gang. Again, there were a lot of strange things and I’m still not loving it but I was very shocked how that last chapter ended so I’m going to pick this up and finish it as soon as I can. It’s probably one of the weirdest books I’ve read as I’m not enjoying it really, but I’m very intrigued.

.

And a secret book !

I’ve been reading one of my three books for the 2020 BBNYA competition and I can’t say anything about it, but I’m really enjoying it. don’t fret though, as soon as the winner is announced at the end of December I’m going to be reviewing each book if I enjoyed them, and there will be blog tours and features as well coming from all the panellists!

.

.

I haven’t finished a book since my last check-in, but I have nearly finished the BBNYA book I mentioned, I’m also going to try to finish Shadows of Winterspell by Amy Wilson and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier in the next days!

.

.

Another secret book!

I’m going to be jumping into my other two BBNYA books, one of them I know I’m going to fly though and the other was my favourite in the last two rounds, so I’ve left them late to binge them on purpose, I’m very excited and can’t wait to tell you all about them as soon as I can!

.

My December books

I haven’t put my December TBR up yet, but it should go up in the next few days and I’m going to make a start on them as soon as December starts! I’m looking forward to Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston, The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton and a few lovely Christmas books, so keep an eye out for my list!

.

That’s all for now, I hope you enjoyed this post, see you soon, stay safe,

Ellie xx

  3. I’m always impressed you can read so many books at once. I can’t read more than 2 at once or otherwise it takes me months to finish.
